BGM parameter (Background Mode)

Parameter Description : The BGM (Background Mode) parameter in the Docs Made Easy app controls how the document is processed after generation—specifically whether it is downloaded, attached, or silently handled in the background. It also skips the Composer Page, making it ideal for fully automated document workflows.

PARAMETER VALUE	BEHAVIOUR
bgm - 1	Appends the File to Files and Downloads it
bgm - 2	Appends the File into the Attachments and Downloads it
bgm - 3	Posts the File to Chatter and Downloads it
bgm - 5	Appends the File to the Document and Downloads it
bgm - 10	Downloads the File only

Note:

The bgm-10 option is not available in the Assign Behaviours dropdown menu. To use this mode, it must be manually added as a custom parameter on the Assign Behaviours configuration page in Docs Made Easy.
