Unlink Fields Parameter

Parameter Value: unlinkFields

Parameter Requirements: This parameter should be used when the document template contains Microsoft Word field codes, such as IF conditions or formulas.

Parameter Description: The unlinkFields parameter converts all Microsoft Word field codes into static text after the document generation process is complete.

When enabled, Microsoft Word field codes are first calculated to produce their final values and are then permanently converted into static text. This helps ensure that the generated document displays consistently, particularly when the document is previewed from a Salesforce record.

Note:

Once the field codes are unlinked, they are permanently removed from the generated document. The output file contains only the calculated static text values, and the original field codes cannot be restored or recalculated after generation. Any subsequent edits to the generated document will not trigger recalculation of the original field codes.
